A small team with only a few senior people, like the Justice League. The main goal was to secure strategic partners to improve the product and expand its coverage.
Project Initiatives
First Contact Experience:
Redesign the initial screen to make it more compelling for users and reduce drop-off.
Input Optimization:
Ideate ways to request users' phone numbers that build trust. And a better way to complete forms to prevent user errors.
Benefit Questions:
Improve the UX of the benefit questions section, specifically by optimizing screens with 10-20 questions to reduce errors and drop-off.
Localization:
Implement multi-language support; most users are multilingual, and documentation tends to be complex.
Online chat:
Design an online help chat that is hand-holding and not intrusive throughout the flow.
Error Prevention:
Improve validation and error avoidance by reordering inputs, replacing inputs, and improving storytelling.
Expansion:
Add more clients and user flows. It seems easy, but it means so many things.
Post-Submission Product Experience:
Improve the user journey after the initial application steps by displaying all available programs for application. Tracking the status of all applied programs. Providing an overview of all user data.
I worked on many initiatives that, unfortunately, I can’t show. They included topics such as: adding live chat, enabling language selection, addressing drop-off instances, winning back users deemed ineligible, adding legal checkboxes, improving income reporting, implementing autosave, enhancing the eligibility results page, and exploring a future version of profile navigation, documentation, and sign-in/login options.
